Photographic lantern slide made of two pieces of glass, one with the photo printed on it, the other clear, held together by a ‘frame’ of black paper tape. The black and white photo shows one side of the exterior of the British parliament buildings. A dark blue and gold border surrounds the image. Inscriptions read: "England. The Parliament at London", "Ferrier Pere Fils & Soulier /...Paris / stereoscopic and lantern slides".
