Bear claw headdress. Thick leather strip, stitched at the ends with 13 long, curved bear claws sewn on with sinew at their proximal ends. Distal ends are blunted and a small hole has been bored through each tip for cotton string to pass through, connecting the claws to each other in a circle. Several claws have come unattached to the string, and several are missing.
