Carving of a bowhead whale. Whale has black inset eyes and two blowholes on the top of the head which also appear to have black insets. Mouth of whale is incised. The side flippers are made of separate pieces of walrus tusk that have been attached by drilling a hole into the side of the whale, inserting the flipper, and pegging through from the base.
