Sherd

MOA: University of British Columbia

3076/13

Small sherd, possibly the spout of an oil lamp. Sherd is hand sculpted of light yellow clay, with a hole at centre top leading down to a long horizontal chamber that runs the length of the piece. One end is narrow, while the other widens and is topped with the remnants of a loop handle. Faint painted lines in brown can be seen on the underside.
