Single spout falcon effigy bottle with red-brown strap handle and polychrome slip. Eyes have black and white markings on orange-brown background; prominent beak has black and cream designs on red-brown background, chest has two panels of black and cream squares divided by an in relief red-brown decoration. Back of bird has a cream āvā shaped motif on grey-brown background. Tail has a āvā shaped band in dark grey, red-brown, cream and orange-brown paint. Partial polish technique on surface and modeled manufacture. Early Nasca Period. Breakage restored.
