Turner together with Inuit and Innu knowledge. Identified there: "Bear ornament. A bear lip ornament used by the Innu, possibly as a charm, collected by Turner at Ft. Chimo. It is unclear whether these are made from the skin of a black bear (Ursus americanus) or a brown bear (Ursus arctos)."
