Set of bamboo clappers. Instrument consists of six rectangular pieces of bamboo seperated by metal washers. The end piece is longer, with a decoratively carved top ending in a point. The bamboo is finished in lacquer. The pieces of the instrument are joined together with a woven rope of unbleached cotton looped through two holes bored through each piece of bamboo and the holes at the centre of the washers. The rope is knotted on one side of the instrument.
