Obverse: Justinian I, enthroned, with diadem; to left, he holds a sceptre; to right, he holds a globus cruciger; to left, inscription says ‘DNIVSTINI’; to right, ‘ANVSPPAVS’. Reverse: large ‘K’; to left, a cross; 'THEUOP' is in a vertical position on either side of the cross; to right, 'B'.
