Byzantine coin of Justinian I, 527-565. Obverse: Justinian I, enthroned, with diadem; to left, he holds a sceptre; to right, he holds a globus cruciger; to left, inscription is illegible; to right, it says ‘NVƧPPAV’. Reverse: large ‘K’; to left, a long cross with 'THEϤOP' on either side in a vertical position; to right, 'Γ'.
