Byzantine coin of Justin II, 565-578. Obverse: Justin II, on left, and Sophia, on right, both enthroned; between them, they hold a globe with a large cross above it; each also holds a long sceptre; both rulers have haloes; inscriptions are blundered; to left, inscription is illegible; to right, it says ‘TVPϤ’. Reverse: large ‘K’; to the left, ‘ANNO’ in a vertical position; to the right, ‘IIIϤ’; above, cross; in exergue, ‘P’ with a diagonal line attached to the bottom portion.
