Woven wool textile. Textile is rectangular in shape, with a tight, patterned weave. Decoration is dense, in a series of parallel lines of varying widths in tan, red, dark yellow and grey-purple. Motifs include birds, human figures, four legged animals and a variety of shapes and linear devices done mainly in light tan thread. A thin band of dark tan cotton is sewn to the long sides of the piece.

Narrative
This collection (3133/1-35) was brought to Vancouver by the donor's father's family, when they moved here from Bolivia in the 1940s.
