Byzantine coin of Heraclius, 610-641. Obverse: two rulers standing and facing front; Heraclius is on the left; Heraclius Constantine, his son, is on the right; each holds a globus cruciger in their right hand; between their heads, there is a cross; to left, inscription is difficult to decipher, but may say ‘INNHERAC’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘[A]NNO’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘II’; above, cross; beneath, ‘B’; in exergue, ‘NIKO’. Coin has been overstruck.
