Obverse: busts of Leo III or Leo V, to left, and Constantine V (son of Leo III) or Constantine (son of Leo V), to right; both wear a chlamys and a crown with cross; to left, inscription says ‘LEO’; above their heads, it says ‘SC’; to right, ‘O...S’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘XXX’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘NNN’ in a vertical position; above, cross; beneath, ‘A’.
