Byzantine coin of Heraclius, 610-641. Obverse: two figures standing and facing front; to left, Heraclius; to right, Heraclius Constantine, his son; Heraclius wears military dress and holds a long cross; Heraclius Constantine wears a chlamys and holds a globus cruciger; there is a cross in between their heads; to left, there may be a monogram. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘ANNO’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘XX’ in a vertical position; beneath, ‘Δ’; in exergue, ‘CON’. This coin has been overstruck. Monogram corresponds to number 23 in Sear catalogue.
