Byzantine coin of Constans II, 641-668. Obverse: bust of Constans II, facing forwards; he wears military dress and a helmet with plume; to left, he holds a globus cruciger; to right, ‘K’; beneath, ‘ANA’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, bust of Heraclius; above, bust of Constantine IV; to right, bust of Tiberius; these are all sons of Constans II; they all wear a chlamys and hold a globus cruciger in their right hands. Coin has been overstruck, causing some confusion on both sides.
