Byzantine coin of Constans II, 641-668. Obverse: bust of Constans II, facing forwards, without beard; he wears a crown with a cross; to left, he holds a globus cruciger; to left, inscription says ‘NPER’; to right, ‘CONST’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘ANA’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘III’ in a vertical position; above, cross. This coin has been overstruck.
