Byzantine coin of Constans II, 641-668. Obverse: bust of Constans II, facing forwards, with short beard; he wears a crown with trefoil ornament; he holds an object in each hand, but it is difficult to decipher what they are; to left, inscription is illegible; to right, ‘N’. Reverse: large cross; to left, ‘CX’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘TX’ in a vertical position; above, a star between two pellets.
