Byzantine coin of Tiberius III, 698-705. Obverse: Tiberius III, standing and facing front; he wears military dress; to left, he holds a globus cruciger; to right, he holds a long spear; to left, inscription is illegible; to right, it says ‘SEP’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to right, ‘Δ’, with a diagonal line above and beneath it; above ‘M’, cross; in exergue, ‘[C]O[N]’. This coin has been overstruck.
