Byzantine coin of Justinian II, 705-711 (second reign). Obverse: busts of Justinian II, to left, and Tiberius, his son, to right; each wears a chlamys and a crown with cross; between them, they hold the patriarchal cross resting on a globe, a variation of the Christian cross; to left, inscription says ‘NI’; to right, it is illegible. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘ANNO’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘XXI’ in a vertical position; above, cross; beneath, ‘B’; in exergue, ‘CON’.
