Byzantine coin of Constantine V, 741-775. Obverse: Constantine V, to left, and Leo IV, to right, both facing front; both wear a chlamys and a crown with cross; between their heads, cross. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘X’; to right, ‘N’; beneath, ‘A’; above, bust of Leo III, facing front, resting on a horizontal bar; he wears a loros, an embroidered and jewelled scarf; to left, he holds a cross potent; to right, there is a cross; on either end of the horizontal bar, there are two pellets.
