Byzantine coin of Constantine VII, 913-959. Obverse: bust of Constantine VII, facing front; he wears a crown with cross and a loros, an embroidered and jewelled scarf; to left, inscription says ‘COn…bA’; to right, it is illegible. Reverse: there is an inscription of four lines, which says ‘[C]On[ST]/EnΘEO[bA]/SILEV[SR]/O[M]EO[n].’ The inscription on the reverse in translation says ‘Constantine, by the Grace of God, King of the Romans.’
