Man’s dark blue pants, made of satin fabric with imprinted floral emblems. Pants are wide through the thighs, narrowing toward the ankles where two fabric buttons gather the material into a large pleat on the outer side of each leg. At top the wide waistband has three belt loops at the back that hold a belt made of the same fabric as the pants. Garment is fully lined with a dark blue material.

Narrative
Donated by the Korean consul, to represent a man's traditional costume of pants, shirt and vest (3171/1-3). A woman's complete traditional costume was part of the same donation: under garments, skirt, jacket, socks, shoes and norigae ornament (3171/4-10).
