Byzantine coin from the 13th century. Obverse: small bust of Christ; he has a nimbus cruciger around his head, which is a cross within a halo; there is an inscription with large letters that forms a circle around him; it says ‘bCBACIΛ…CONI’. Reverse: two figures, standing and facing front; between them, they hold a labarum, which is a military standard; to left, it says ‘ΛIM…UИ’. Collector's envelope suggests that this coin belongs to Andronicus II.
