Byzantine coin of Justinian II, 685-695 (first reign). Obverse: bust of Justinian II, facing front; he wears a chlamys; to left, he holds a globus cruciger; to left, inscription says ‘IϤSTINI’; to right, ‘ANVSP’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘ANNO’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘II’; above ‘II’, cross; above ‘M’, cross; beneath ‘M’, there is ‘E’; in exergue, ‘CON’.
