Latex (balata) figure of a parrot. Figure is made of dyed latex rubber, hand molded. Parrot is in a standing position, wings at its sides, tail falling long behind it and aiding in balance. Lines have been incised in the rubber to indicate feathers on wings and tail. Body is grey with light yellow and tan highlights on tail, wings and feet, and beak is black. Small grey eyes are embedded on the sides of the head and surrounded by yellow patches.
