Byzantine coin of John II, 1118-1143. Obverse: bust of Christ; he has a halo; to right, it says ‘X’. Reverse: bust of John II, facing front; he wears a loros, an embroidered and jewelled scarf; to right, he holds a globus cruciger. Coin is concave.
