Hair Tie

Wool hair tie. Woven cord is long and thin, made of many strands of dyed wool in red, green, yellow and brown that create a zigzag pattern along the length of the tie. At somewhat irregular intervals along both edges of the cord are attached small white glass beads.

Acquired by the donor on a field collecting trip in and around Cuzco, Peru, in 1978.
