Cloth figure depicting a birth. A bed is made of light brown fabric, and holds inside it a large central figure lying on her back, with distended stomach. A small head emerges from beneath the bottom of her blanket, into the arms of a figure wearing a white shawl. To each side of the mother are attendants in blue shawls. All figures have large, triangular heads, with broad embroidered features. The mother's blanket is made of tightly woven wool in a multicoloured linear pattern. Her arms are small twigs wrapped with fibre.
