Byzantine coin of Heraclius, 610-641. Obverse: two busts, facing forward; to left, Heraclius, with beard and crown with cross; to right, his son and heir, Heraclius Constantine, without beard but with crown with cross; between their heads, another cross. Reverse: large ‘I’; to left, ‘ANNO’ in a vertical position’ to right, ‘XϚ’ in a vertical position; in exergue, ‘CAT’.
