Reproduction of a Roman coin of Servius Sulpicius Galba (68-69). Obverse: bust of Galba, facing right; he wears a laurel crown; to left and right, inscription says 'IMP SER SVLP GALBA CAES AVG TR POT'. Reverse: Galba and the Praetorian Prefect stand on low platform to left, addressing troops to right; troops carry spears and standards; to left, 'S'; to right, 'C'; beneath, 'ADLOCVT'.

Narrative
Said to be a cast copy of a Paduan type by Giovanni da Cavino, 1500-1570. The reverse type did not exist for Galba sestertius originals.
