Woven and painted spruce root hat, with a painted flying frog design. The hat is conical in shape, with sides that flare at the brim. Dragonfly pattern weave. Three-strand twined crown, with no dividing line between crown and brim. The frog figures are painted in black and bright orange-red. The painted design covers the entire area between the top edge and the brim. The frog's face is at centre front, with the body splitting to cover each side and joining again at the back. There is a red line around the brim edge, as well as the upper edge. The crown is unpainted. There is a twilled inner headband. Davidson's initials and date are painted inside.
