MOA: University of British Columbia

Small square purse. Two pieces of dark green cotton have been sewn together on three sides to create the small bag. A single piece of wool floss is attached at both sides of the mouth to make a handle, and the same is bunched to make small tassels at each corner. Bag is decorated with lines of zigzag stitching in a variety of colours and sizes. At bottom edge and top corners, strings of small white seeds are sewn into the seam and hang as fringe. The same seeds make a cross pattern on the bag, front and back. Interior is unlined.
