Round drum from a single skin stretched around a wooden frame. The skin is pulled around the edges of the drum and held together at back with skin thongs. Raven design on surface painted in blue, black and red. Artist inscription and date on the side.

Iconographic Meaning
Raven's Journey - After the flood, Raven brought the sun and knowledge, Raven traveled over the new lands collecting stories with Frog as his helper. Once the stories were collected, he distributed them so that everyone would have equal knowledge and could not use the stories against each other again.
