Wildmans Red Cedarbark Mask Dance

MOA: University of British Columbia

3278/2

Painting on paper. Five figures, all wearing large masks with long snouts and slightly open mouths, coloured black, red, green and yellow. Long capes of orange and yellow cedar bark fall from each mask, obscuring the figures beneath. The two front-most figures have yellow legs emerging from the cedar, with leg bands wrapped around their calves. Light yellow background.
