Gold brooch in a raven design. Bird’s wings are slightly spread and angled down, long feathers on left separated and defined. Legs are bent at knees and tail feathers fall between and below them. Head is large and turned to the side, with open mouth, large eye and squared head crest. The surface of the brooch is textured. The back has a brooch pin running from the nose to the opposite wing. "Reid 70" inscription on back.

    Acquired by the donor in 1970 from the Canadian Handicraft Exhibition in Montreal. Item number 32 in the catalogue "Bill Reid: a Retrospective Exhibition" (1974; Vancouver Art Gallery).
