Headband made from a beaded belt that has been sewn together into a circular band. Blue glass beads cover the red-brown surface of the band, with alternating patterns of pink rectangles, gold bars, blue and yellow boxes, and red crosses. Still visible are two belt holes, one containing a metal rivet.

Narrative
Sandra Dent's grandfather (Gervase Edward Gale) was a missionary and principal of St. Paul's School at Cardston, Alberta, on the Blood Reserve, c. 1904-1910. Her grandmother, Hattie May is said to have collected the Blood (Kainai) objects in MOA accessions 3194 and 3239.
