Paper Model Boat
MOA: University of British Columbia
3292/11
Paper model of a boat. The boat is made from folded yellow paper with printed red characters and symbols (swastika). The sails are made from the same paper, and hang from two bamboo masts, which are all strung together by red and burgundy thread. There are bamboo rails on both sides of the boat, each with three vertical bars and one rail. A short braided cord of multi-coloured thread is tied to the prow. Another length of the same thread is tied from the prow, wrapping around both masts, and then is attached to the stern.
