Full-length dress with long sleeves and cross-stitch embroidery (tatreez تطريز). Fabric is black, with deep red floral embroidery extending down the garment in strips, on the chest panel, and around the cuffs. The chest panel also has S-shaped leech motifs. Draw strings extend down from top of V-neck. The centre of each flower has wire embroidery. Multi-coloured figure eight stitching joins material along vertical seams. Small tree of life on back of skirt (T-shape). The interior fabric has printed, 'Made in Nippon'.

Narrative
Ramallah style dress. Purchased by donors in a shop in Jerusalem's old city. The shop owner said he collected the piece in the area around Jerusalem, or in Jordan.
