Tall carved staff, with a kneeling, nude, male figure atop a large pedestal, of almost equal height, at the bottom. The figure holds a long-barreled firearm across the front of his body, and an infant on his back. He has a round head with round protruding features, and a long hairstyle that extends down his behind him and is decorated with calabash(?). On the side of each leg is a knife. The pedestal is somewhat cylindrical at the top, before expanding and tapering three times towards the bottom. The top of the pedestal is wrapped by snakes, and two lizards flank the sides.
