Piece of cloth completely embroidered with three rows of repeating geometric shapes in red, black and orange. The bottom edge is finished with a loop stitch in red; the other three sides have cut edges.

Purchased by the donor from a shop called "Bedouin Art" in the old city, Jerusalem, in the late 1990s.

Originally said to be part of a hat; may have formed the cylindrical band for a brimless cap.
