Small square folded bag with woven strap, tied off-centre from apex. A large neon yellow tassel is attached to each lower corner. The edging on three sides is neon yellow. The central design is composed of repeating star pattern in neon yellow, dark green, and neon pink. Strap is yellow with a pink zigzag flanked by two bands of pink running lengthwise; folded in half along length; ends stitched to upper corners of bag.

    The Wixáritari are known to the larger world as the Huichol, however that is not the name they use to refer to themselves.

    Collected by Dr. Hope MacLean while she was doing fieldwork with the Huichol, 1992-1995.
