Carved and painted model wooden pole. Figures represented from top to bottom: large bird with a long beak and wings spread; downward-facing whale with tail fin curled up onto its back; large bird head with short beak; seated human-like figure; seated bird figure with wings at side. Pole has a grey square base with a silver-coloured bevelled edge.

Passed down through the family, from Tom Fraser's grandfather. His grandfather said he received it from a chief for whom he had done some work.
