Short, red-purple woman's jacket with front opening and two pockets. Cuffs are bordered with black bands and green trim; green trim along edges of front opening. Black cloth stitched to sides of front opening, on elbows and top edge of pockets; imitating lapels, elbow patches and pocket flaps respectively. Curvilinear and geometric motifs embroidered around opening and on all black fabric; white button decorations throughout embroidery.

This jacket and a hat (3515/11) were commissioned by the donor while she spent several weeks in Peru, researching textiles.
