Tanned leather ornament resembling a rounded bottom purse. Top edge is folded over, creating a flap, with long strands of fringe hanging onto front of ornament. All strands hang from centre; straight pieces stitched to front of flap, one looped piece of fringe stitched to back of ornament. Protruding white beaded band borders all sides, with black triangle designs throughout. Ornament has a braided strap stitched to the left side of the ornament. It has a looped end that secures it to the right side of the ornament with a button.

    Acquired by donor at the Mahalapye District Agricultural Show in 1978.
