Woven short-sleeved men's shirt with small side slits. Shirt has a scalloped neck opening; embroidery along the front and back of the neck in a square shape. Ground is white-grey and is decorated with thin black stripes; wider band decoration throughout. Wider bands done in two designs. First is black with three wide white stripes; second is black with eight white wavy stripes throughout. Black three-striped band runs along length of sleeve on back; plain grey stripe runs along length on front. Additional triangular panels attached to sides of shirt, causing bottom edge to flare out; panels decorated with three-striped bands. All edges of shirt are finished.

The donor taught in a rural school in Tobli, eastern Liberia, from 1965 to 1967.
