Heavy white rectangular blanket consisting of two panels stitched together in the centre, along the long edge; each panel is made up of three woven horizontal strips. Band decorates section where two panels meet; band is brown with a yellow line through the centre, rows of white squares on either side. Entire blanket is covered in black geometric designs with brown, yellow and white highlights throughout. Designs consist of diamonds, triangles, rectangles, "X" shapes, squares and dot motifs. Sides have wide brown bands, trimmed in black. There are seven sets of two tassels on each side; top and bottom edges are trimmed with black. (Cotton strip sewn onto back, for hanging purposes).

The donor taught in a rural school in Tobli, eastern Liberia, from 1965 to 1967.
