Copper plate engraving on rectangular off-white paper, in horizontal orientation; engraving set into paper, with raised rectangular border. Central design of an owl with outspread wings; outlined with hatch lines. Owl has small circular eyes and a V-shaped beak; body and legs decorated with spots, with faint lines throughout. Wings are covered with rows of hatch lines; entire design done in black ink. Small inscription in top right corner, with price of drawing ($50). Syllabics, edition number, 44/50, year made, and additional syllabics written along bottom edge of engraving; Canadian Eskimo Arts Council logo embossed in bottom right corner. All inscriptions written in pencil.
