Lidded Pot

Pot (part a) with separate lid (part b); made from red-brown clay. Pot has a circular opening, with straight lip, that extends onto a rounded shoulder, and tapers to a circular base. Opening and shoulder are decorated with black painted designs, from top to bottom: solid line, dashed line, band with wavy line through middle, and band with columns of repeating triangles. Similar band with columns of repeating triangles painted around bottom edge of pot. Brown glaze, that has grey and gold streaks throughout, applied to interior. Lid is dome-shaped with a lip that extends slightly past opening of pot; has a straight flange on bottom. Exterior edge is decorated with two black painted designs: dashed line and band with wavy line through middle. Artist initials and year made(?) painted on base.
