Brown velvet picture frame with oval opening at centre. Double rows of beads are sewn around the outside edge and the oval opening edge. Decorative beadwork in floral patterns around front, with "OTTAWA" beaded in gold beads at the top, and "1931" in green and gold beads at the bottom, with brown sequins added between the letters and numbers. Five triple-looped strands of beads hang from the bottom. Red fabric lines the inside back, with beige fabric covering the outer back; in between the layers of fabric is something like a piece of thin cardboard, for stiffening.
