Bowl
MOA: University of British Columbia
2990/54
Rounded gambrel brownware bowl with red slip interior and rim decoration. There are three incised panels of abstract feline heads facing right on a field of horizontal lines dotted on alternating left & right ends. In between each of these is a panel of horizontal lines, making five incised panels. There is red paint and remnants of cream-coloured paint on the sections of the decoration. There are faded negative painted dots in the 9 cm gap between the incised panels. The bowl has been completely broken and reconstructed, and some small areas have been in-filled between joins or where small pieces are missing.
